We give you a warm welcome to our Automated Admissions System through which you can begin the process of formally joining the New Horizons Big Family. Our system makes it easy to request information, reservation of space, coordination of appointments, online payments and the ability to track your order online.

  2. Pay for the reservation and schedule an interview with the Psychologist.
  3. Student’s Evaluation.
  4. Acceptance confirmation from 5 working days after evaluation.
  5. Inscription within 15 working days after acceptance.
National student's Requirements

  1. Original birth certificate (school purposes).
  2. Two (2) photographs size 2 x 2.
  3. Vaccination record (with dates).
  4. Medical certification (pediatric, odontologic, ophthalmologic and otolaryngologic).
  5. Infirmary Questionary.
  6. Grades records or last school year grades.
  7. School Recommendation Form.
  8. 8th Grade certification and copy of 8th grade National Test certificates (dominicans only).
  9. Enrollment ID translation legalized by el Distrito Escolar of the SEE, for 9th to 11th grade (Copy of exams certification)

  1. Birth certification, original or copy, legalized by the home country embassy or a national notary.
  2. If you dont have a Dominican birth certification, you must present a passport photocopy.
  3. Two (2) Photographs size 2 x 2.
  4. Carnet or vaccination record (with dates).
  5. Medical certification (pediatric, odontologic, ophthalmologic and otolaryngologic).
  6. Infirmary Questionary.
  7. Grades records or last school year grades.
  8. Letter of good conduct from the last school attended (School Recommendation Form).
  9. Procure an authorization or validation in the Department of Validations of the Education Ministry, as detailed:
    From 1st grade onward, apply for an authorization to register, presenting the scores of the last grade made with a copy of the Birth Certification (if any of these documents are in another language they must be translated into Spanish). 
     From 7th grade onward, procure the validation of studies carried out abroad. For this it is necessary to present in addition to the original Birth Certification, the final scores of those grades original, signed and stamped by the School Director and legalized in the Dominican Consulate in the country where they were made, and translated into Spanish. In countries where there is no Dominican diplomatic delegation they must legalize the notes by a public notary.

Toddlers – 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Pre-Kinder and Kinder – 7:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Pre-Primary School – 7:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
1st and 2nd Grade – 7:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. and 2:00 p.m Fridays.
3rd to 6th – 7:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 2:15 p.m Fridays.
7th to 12th – 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m Fridays.

After School Program

Children from Toddlers to 5th grade could join the Early Learners Club, which includes supervised lunch, rest time, homework assistance, sports and artistic activities. If the child needs tutoring, the homework assistance and extracurricular activities are substituted by the tutoring of 1 or 2 subjects.

Spot Reservation

The New Horizons Bilingual School, in order to facilitate the process admissions of new students, has devised a quota system to reserve through which parents ensure a place for that school year. This process can be made through our website or in person at our facilities.

The cost of the Reserve Capacity corresponds to 10% of the amount of annual tuition level at which assist the student.  With this payment is guaranteed the student space within the institution and the student after admission,  that amount is considered part of tuition.
